Wrongful Dismissal Claim Settled Against Employer For $63,000

The employee had worked for the employer for about eight years. ATAC LAW advised the employee of their claim to damages for wrongful dismissal. The employer at first provided the employee without any pay in lieu of notice. After a number of negotiations, ATAC LAW was able to negotiate a settlement payment for the employee of $63,000.00, representing approximately 7 months’ wages.
