Shuni Zhang is an Articling Student at ATAC LAW.
Shuni obtained her LL.B. from China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing, China, and her LL.M. from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where she graduated with Distinction and was named to the Dean’s List in 2018. Shuni joined ATAC LAW in the fall of 2025 to complete her articles.
Having previously practiced as a corporate lawyer in China, Shuni’s practice and experience were primarily focused on capital markets and cross-border business transactions.
At ATAC LAW, Shuni is exploring a range of civil and commercial litigation matters and is developing her understanding of dispute resolution. Her combined commercial and civil experience enables her to approach each file with care and an appreciation of the implications of even the most minor disputes.
Shuni is fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) and is known for her diligence and attentiveness to clients’ goals. She draws on her prior experience as she works toward qualification in Canada.
Outside of work, as a parent to a young child, Shuni enjoys spending time with her family and places a strong emphasis on education and lifelong learning in both her personal and professional development.
