Nico G.J. Breed brings a wealth of litigation experience to his practice at ATAC LAW. Throughout his legal career of 24 years in Canada, Nico has successfully represented numerous clients in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Federal Court on a range of matters from insurance defence to immigration law.
In the recent past, he was part of the legal team that successfully argued in The Supreme Court of Canada, confirming that Habeas Corpus is available to immigration detainees.
In his immigration practice he works with individuals and business clients on every type of immigration application, including family class sponsorships, such as spousal, common-law, parental, and visitor and study permit applications. He also assists with Permanent Resident and Citizenship applications.
Nico’s construction law practice benefits from his experience advising on multi-million dollar retail mall and office development projects.
Nico also works with corporate clients on a broad range of business/corporate matters, including incorporation of companies, and buying and selling of businesses.
Nico enjoys the outdoors, especially multiple day backpacking hikes with his wife. He enjoys the snow and spends a lot of his free time snowboarding with his children.
