Raymond joined ATAC law in 2023 as an Articled Student.
Before joining ATAC, Raymond spent years as a journalist in China, the UK, and Canada. This background honed his communication skills and instilled in him a compassionate ear for listening and comprehending people’s needs.
Raymond shifted his career because he believes practicing law is the best way to help people and promote social justice in Canada, a country built on the rule of law.
At law school, Raymond focused on business law, covering topics like real estate law, wills and succession, commercial law, international taxation, and taxation of corporations and shareholders.
He also helped low-income clients in Greater Vancouver through the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, assisting with housing and criminal issues.
Outside of work, Raymond enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
