Associate Lawyer

Raghav is an associate lawyer at ATAC LAW. His practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, construction disputes, commercial arbitration, regulatory proceedings, and criminal defence.

Raghav has extensive advocacy experience and has acted as both lead and co-counsel in complex trials, appeals, judicial review proceedings, and domestic and international arbitrations. His commercial practice includes disputes involving major infrastructure projects, construction delays and deficiencies, insolvency and corporate restructuring, securities regulation, shareholder interests, public procurement, and contractual risk. He has represented individuals, multinational corporations, publicly traded companies, public-sector organizations, and regulatory bodies in a wide range of contested matters. He has also acted as a special prosecutor for a federal securities regulator, conducting more than 50 trials.

Raghav also represents individuals facing criminal charges. He has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia in connection with bail hearings, bail reviews and variations, joint sentencing submissions, and other criminal proceedings. His experience includes advising accused persons, negotiating with Crown counsel, preparing resolution proposals, drafting release conditions, and managing criminal matters from initial intake through resolution or hearing. Raghav also volunteers with Access Pro Bono, providing summary legal advice to people facing criminal charges.

Before joining ATAC LAW, Raghav practised independently and worked with a Vancouver criminal defence firm.

Raghav brings a practical and strategic approach to litigation. He understands that effective representation requires more than courtroom advocacy: it also requires careful preparation, clear advice, and a realistic understanding of each client’s objectives and the commercial and personal consequences of the dispute.

Raghav is fluent in English and Hindi. Outside the office, he enjoys exploring British Columbia with his wife and working on his golf swing.
